Braille dots on pharmaceutical information is an EU requirement for aiding the blind.

Braille can be applied through different techniques to labels on existing text with clear - see through - materials. It will therefore not require additional space.

Braille dots can be applied directly on the label, the visible part of a baselabel or on a transparent label, applied to an existing label.

We employ the silkscreen printing method directly to the label or the visible part of the label, when it is an ECL or silkscreen on a small transparent label applied on to a folded label. We can also apply digitally transferred brailledots onto an ECL or label.

The CCL Braille solutions will not normally require changes in existing application or packaging technology and labels can be applied at the usual speed.

CCL can assist you with translation of text to Braille dots and produce special material for proofreading.
